Group for boaters that frequent Peck Lake (aka Peck's Lake). Peck Lake is south of the St. Lucie Inlet and North of Hobe Sound @ approximately 27.116972,-80.14535.
Peck Lake was once an inlet. Sand deposits separated the ocean and created an anchorage on the intercoastal side. Access to this area is exclusive for boats and boaters.
The best approach is to stay in the Intercoastal until you are directly perpendicular to other anchored boats (or the trail marker that takes you to the beach), then head straight in.
