What is everyone's hurricane plan locally?  We just moved our boat from up North and we feel like we need a plan that is more than double lines off our dock.

At what point does everyone pull their boats out and where are the best places to have it done?  Our boat is not trailer able; therefore, it is best to plan ahead.

Are their any lists to get on to ensure there is availability?  At what point of the storms track do you act?  Thanks for your help!

Mike, I'm in the same boat (situation). I really look forward to hearing what others say here on this one!
its best to move your boat inland if you cant take it out of the water. The south fork of the saint lucie river has some good places to take your boat and put out alot of anchor chain with many anchors.I have a sailboat and thats where I go.

sail boater has good information about the south river area. the best is to go to a boat pull out and do just that.

you should check with your boat insurance ,because if you have not made good effort to pull your boat and it gets damaged, they will not pay. my insurance works that way.  Captain Charlie   infinity charters  www.infinitysportfishing.com
